KALEIOKAPILIALOHA
Kaleiokapilialoha means the lei of close friendships.
Every student is a flower, each different in their own capacity either by race, interests or knowledge. Together we form a lei of friendships, a togetherness. There are no “interviews” or “auditions” to join the hālau (school). Just the desire to learn, share and enjoy is enough.
Although we enjoy performing, it is not the sole purpose of our hālau. We live in a state that seems to be winter more than summer, so we warm our hearts and souls with hula. We yearn for the warmth and aloha of Hawai‘i, and we get that from our hula 'ohana (family). We make the time and commitment to come together and share the love of Hawai‘i and its culture and to express this through hula.
We always welcome guests to stop in for a peek.......

About Aunty Kalei
Aloha!
My name is Dana Marie Kaleinā'ala O Ka'ahuonāali'i Enstad. Everyone calls me Kalei or lately, Aunty Kalei. I grew up in 'Aiea on the island of O'ahu, graduated from The Kamehameha Schools and I love to dance the hula. My hula travels took me to Japan, then to Minnesota, my temporary home until I can get back to the islands...
